I have ample experience collecting biodiversity and environmental data in the field across a range of habitat types and ecosystems. See a summary of my experiences below:

Sampling animal communities: birds, mammals, insects, etc*.

I conduct transect samplings of birds and mamals (on foot and from a car) and insect sampling in bands and vacuum cleaner, in both mediterranean and temperate ecosystems.

Sampling plant communities: grasses, herbs, shrubs, trees, etc*.

I survey all kind of plant species in different ecosystems as such mediterranean, alpine, temperate, coastal, etc.

Radiotracking:

I follow tagged individual movements using radiotracking, mainly threatened species. For example, I used VHF radio-transmitters to follow the Lesser kestrel, and GPS and satellite transmiters for tagged Bearded vultures.

Soil sampling: for physical, chemical and biodiversity analyses.

I can provide guidance on how to organize and conduct your fieldwork, and I can also be the expert collecting data for you!
