I have strong Geographical Information System (GIS) analytical skills and more than 10 years of experience in research. I have lectured in Cartography and Land planning, and taught practical sessions using GIS at Bachelor and Master level. I am an expert in a range of different GIS softwares, such as ArcGIS, Erdas, Idrisi and QGIS.

​Creating maps: I create maps from different digital sources: field notes, GPS data, mobile application (e.g., Oruxmaps, CompeGPS), satellite imagery,  orthophotographs, etc., and convert geographical data into other projections.

Managing georeferenced data: I create, manage, modify and map large georeferenced data.

​

Spatial analyses: I extract environment variables from GIS layers to perform statistical analyses and modelling and create digital layouts to export maps as graphics.
